Biography
Maninder Singh Kalkat MS, MCh, FRCS (CTh)
Maninder Singh Kalkat is Consultant Thoracic Surgeon, in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospital Birmingham. He trained at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Chandigarh in India and West Midlands Cardiothoracic Surgical Training programme in United Kingdom.
He is expert in minimally invasive surgery for chest conditions, including robotic surgery. He is a core member of multidisciplinary teams involved with management of lung cancer, sarcomas involving chest wall, mediastinal tumours and central airway obstructions.
Mr Kalkat has has lectured and published widely on the subject of airway and chest wall diseases
